Mornin' lovelies! Do things look a little different around these parts? Well, I finally made the move to Wordpress! It is definitely a love - hate relationship right now since I am so used to using the Blogger dashboard. But I am love love loving the freedom and functionality I get with Wordpress!
I know there are a few bloggy friends out there that want to make the switch but feel a little overwhelmed about it. So I will be posting instructions on how I did it, and what I did to make the transition as smooth as possible! So stay tuned....
PS. The Tea on Tuesday is postponed until next week due to my being swamped with work on top of moving to Wordpress, but we will pick up right where we left off next week! Plus I will be co-hosting Kickin' it on Klout on Monday, with Ang over at Juggling Act Mama for a double dose of blog hoppin' fun!
Looks good mama :)

ReplyDeleteI've been thinking of switching, but I'm too scared. Can't wait to read how you did it!
ReplyDeletethe site loks awesome!
ReplyDeletelooking forward to kickin' it with you! thanks for the shout out!
I will be desperately waiting for these instructions!!
ReplyDeleteI got this post in my feeds; so that must mean that switching didn't mess that up?
Will you be adding your GFC widget?!
I'm very curious as to how you did it!!!!
It looks great!!
I will post the details soon! Yes, anyone who follows me via GFC will still see my posts in Google Feed Reader, but I won't show up in the feed at the bottom of Blogger. I haven't figured out how to get GFC back on my site now that it is on WP, but I know it can be done! :) Thank you so much for stopping by! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThanks Ang! Can't wait for Kickin' It either!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI wasn't scared going in because I knew that I could handle the move...my fears were: a) I would lose content or comments or both! b) My posts' formatting would transfer wonky, which some of them did but I let it go! LOL c) That all the time I spent on the back end creating the design and testing plugins would be for nothing because something went horrible wrong! OR ALL OF THE ABOVE! But it went pretty smoothly, I must say :) I will posting the details soon. :) xoxo
ReplyDeletelooks great! I want to switch to WordPress so bad for a lot of reasons, but for some reason I have this huge bond with Google Friend Connect and I can't part with it! ha! I feel like there are so many perks with WordPress though! Congrats on the switch!
ReplyDeleteoooo, if you figure out how to get GFC on your site, I'd love to know too!! : )
ReplyDeleteI looks great! Good job, Jessica!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mandi! xoxo
